Layout
and Accessory Items - By Manufacturer
These manufacturers may
or may not have their own web sites, but their products are carried by the
On-Line Stores to which I do have links. Below is a listing of manufacturers,
what sort of accessories they produce, and who carries their products.
Use caution when looking
for accessories. Most of these manufacturers produce items for other scales
in addition to Z scale. Make sure that you are looking at Z scale items, not
HO or N scale! However, keep in mind that N scale is not a whole lot larger
than Z scale. You don't want N scale track or trains, but some accessories
might be acceptable where size is not critical. For instance, I purchased
some N scale elephants and giraffes for my circus and they are quite acceptable.

Tractor-trailer trucks. The ones to look for are
the 1/256 scale trucks. This is a little smaller
than Z scale (1/220) but the difference is hardly
noticable. In addition to several 1.256 scale
trucks, they have several more of the same scale
packaged as Holiday Ornaments. They can be easily
converted for use on your layout.
