Layout and Accessory Items - By Manufacturer

These manufacturers may or may not have their own web sites, but their products are carried by the On-Line Stores to which I do have links. Below is a listing of manufacturers, what sort of accessories they produce, and who carries their products.

Use caution when looking for accessories. Most of these manufacturers produce items for other scales in addition to Z scale. Make sure that you are looking at Z scale items, not HO or N scale! However, keep in mind that N scale is not a whole lot larger than Z scale. You don't want N scale track or trains, but some accessories might be acceptable where size is not critical. For instance, I purchased some N scale elephants and giraffes for my circus and they are quite acceptable.

Die-Cast Promotions -
     Tractor-trailer trucks. The ones to look for are
     the 1/256 scale trucks. This is a little smaller
     than Z scale (1/220) but the difference is hardly
     noticable. In addition to several 1.256 scale
     trucks, they have several more of the same scale
     packaged as Holiday Ornaments. They can be easily
     converted for use on your layout.
